The Paithani Story

Named after the ancient town of Paithan on the banks of the Godavari, Paithani sarees are among India's most prized silk weaves. The Modak motif — inspired by the sacred sweet offered to Lord Ganesha — is woven with meticulous precision into the pallu and border, symbolising prosperity, auspiciousness, and divine grace.
